FRS is a minor project developed as part of our college curriculum, aimed at creating an automated attendance system using face recognition technology. This project uses CCTV cameras to capture faces and log attendance for students, teachers, and staff in real-time, providing an efficient and contactless solution for attendance management. The system aims to address common issues with traditional attendance methods, such as manual errors, time consumption, and lack of security. By leveraging the power of artificial intelligence and computer vision, we aim to automate the entire process, making it faster, more accurate, and more secure.
This project showcases the practical application of AI and computer vision in solving everyday challenges, such as improving the efficiency of attendance tracking in educational institutions.
Use face recognition to automatically mark attendance without the need for manual intervention.
The system processes attendance in real-time as individuals are captured by the CCTV cameras.
Admins can easily view and manage attendance data through a simple dashboard.
Ensure that student and staff data is stored securely.
