Face Recognition
SYSTEM

A Face Recognition Attendance System that automatically logs attendance for students, teachers, and employees using CCTV cameras. The system utilizes facial recognition technology to track attendance in real-time.

About

FRS is a minor project developed as part of our college curriculum, aimed at creating an automated attendance system using face recognition technology. This project uses CCTV cameras to capture faces and log attendance for students, teachers, and staff in real-time, providing an efficient and contactless solution for attendance management. The system aims to address common issues with traditional attendance methods, such as manual errors, time consumption, and lack of security. By leveraging the power of artificial intelligence and computer vision, we aim to automate the entire process, making it faster, more accurate, and more secure.

Uttar Pradesh government

Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya

The Uttar Pradesh government is currently using an app to manage school attendance and student data in primary schools, which primarily focuses on implementing an app-based attendance system for teachers, requiring them to register their presence twice daily using a dedicated application; this initiative aims to reduce discrepancies and provide real-time monitoring of teacher attendance by educational authorities.

Key points about the app:
Function:
Primarily for recording teacher attendance, including morning and evening check-ins.

Data collection:The app gathers detailed information about students and staff, including personal details, Aadhaar numbers, and academic records.

School details:The app also stores information about the school itself, including location coordinates.

Goal: To modernize aided schools in Uttar Pradesh by providing a digital platform for managing student and teacher data.
